Being #VulnerablyMe… Without Being Only the Fog

I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to be vulnerably me, especially as of late. That phrase has really resonated with me–and over time, it’s become something of a personal signature, and led me to create the hashtag:

#VulernablyMe

It’s precisely how I choose and try to show up in the world: with softness, honesty, and heart. These things matter deeply to me–and help me feel more me than just about anything else.

The other day, some thoughts started to tug at me:
What if all of my posts start to feel like too much?
What if all that I share are just my cloudy days and emotional spirals?
What if being #VulnerablyMe starts to define my voice, rather than illuminate it?

So, staring now, I want to hold space for a new kind of balance.
Vulnerability doesn’t always mean being raw–it means being real. Sometimes, being real means feeling proud. Feeling light. Feeling neutral. Feeling quietly okay.

I’m still learning what that looks like. Perhaps it begins with small things:

Wearing a blazer on a Tuesday, because it lifts my spirits and confidence.
Writing a post to simply say, “I’m still here. Still me. Just a little quieter today.”
Choosing to share a kind of softness that doesn’t have to ache to prove that it’s sincere.

Because #VulnerablyMe doesn’t have to be always writing from the storm. It just means allowing all of me to be seen–whatever the weather may be.
